The Wrangler JL is 200 pounds lighter than the JK. Wrangler JK models offer a 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. The front end of the Wrangler JL has been redesigned with a more raked grille to increase aerodynamics, new front fender flares with a running light and turn signal built in, and a larger, sportier bumper.
